Lot it is bad luck, , yep , maybe a bit of it is stupidity....however, i reckon most of it is the fact that opposition bring a bit of extra physicality whenever they play The Dockers. I reckon history has shown that we 'crack like an egg", whenever a team tries to monster us.
And part of the reason is that we've never had anyone who'd retaliate with a bit of 'tit for tat'. We've had 'pests' like The Wiz, Bsllas & Crowley - even Josh Carr - ,but, we've never had hard nuts that oppositions fear.
We all get excited about the physicality Treacy brings...well, I'm -at least - excited abour it....but name another Dockers player - since 1994 - who's approached the game in the same way?
Troy Cook was tough nut, maybe you could say the same about Solomon, or Mark Johnson, but none of them were intimidatory.
We need intimidators in our team - 4 or 5 of them, who can dish out some of the brutal stuff, that 'turns the tables' on some of these oppositions...and they might start approaching us with a different attitude...
