Hmm not sure about that, but yep, how good is Bolton?
He has definitely gone to another level this year and given the choice of Dusty or Bolton, I'd be taking Bolton.
His general play has been great then there's That mark!!!

I'm getting a little tired of seeing all these Fremantle kids kill it for AFL teams.

Before Morgan gives me quantitative analysis on why we didn't get any of them. Maybe just a couple would be nice? If not, could we at least give the appearance we're interested in the WAFL?

You know it’s not a stupid idea to trade fyfe.
His best is past and I can’t see him making it as a forward so his value every year decreases.
Whilst I love him and watching him play got freo he just doesn’t have the same ability to change the game. I would swap Fyfe for Bolton and a first rounder or a combination package with the bulldogs for Aeron Naughton and Tim English.

Gee, Shai Bolton is impressive. Might be the best twenty two year old in the league. Would be great to do a balanced trade to get a really talented local back. I hear he may be keen.

Even though we think he's good and he wouldn't come cheap let's not trade WA's best player since Polly Farmer.

I agree with that but I don't think you can really compare players from different eras. The modern game is completely different and while I agree that Polly Farmer would still be a great player today, and the stoppages would suit him, Fyfe has been very loyal to Fremantle and, look, I'll be honest with you, I don't know how to end this bit.

Secure our current list at fair market price and use our draft picks across all positions.
Consider pick swaps if there’s quality local talent we can secure.
If we have to pay significantly over market value to secure an existing player then negotiate fair compensation. This could involve a player, if that player isn’t demanding more than he is worth. Otherwise trade for picks.
