This could actually work out quite well for us in the long run. With all our new injury issues for this week Ryan, Mundy, Hughes and Chapman and the way we struggled defensively to handle the Weagles forward line we were lokking at getting belted with the Lions talls Daniher, Hipwood and McStay and smalls Cameron and McCarthy likely having a birthday against our undermanned defence on our home soil. Basically a wasted home fixture which becomes a more possible home win in Round 21 with a wider range of defensive options available in Ryan, Hamling, Pearce available. It's more than likely we were going to get belted anyway so playing away won't necessarily hurt our chances of victory. We actually might develop a bit of ticker that was sadly lacking against the Weagles on Sunday.

I do not approve of you showing leaders of the Fremantle Dockers football club incorrectly wearing a mask, and I think this sets a poor example. Also, whilst dairy products and herbs (like spearmint) are permitted to leave Western Australia and enter other Australian states, herbs (like spearmint) are not permitted to be brought into WA. I think you should clarify this for your readers to avoid confusion and protect the spearmint growers of WA.

Not sure the likes of Alex Pearce , Joel hamling would of made any difference. We played the eagles with them in the official preseason game with both of them playing and we got belted by an undermanned eagles forward line by 47 points. If they had kicked straight it would of been even more humiliating.

Maybe instead of recruiting tall skinny backs we pick more durable and muscular backman. But alas if they are west Australian we will not pick them.

Well the August trip to Brissy is up in smoke, but it'll all be worth it with Treacy to come back in and we'll win by 7 in a shoot out.

Of course if it gets to round 21 and we're still playing like we did on Sunday, a nice weekend in Brissy away from the footy is probably just what I'll need for my mental wellbeing. Perhaps I won't cancel that flight just yet.

Know what you’re on about Straddo, three of us supporters do an away trip each season, last season was supposed to be Gold Coast for 10 days but fell through due-to COVID.

Re-booked everything in early March, staying on the Gold Coast, using credits from last year. We said stuff it we’ll go anyhow. At least it’ll be raining as usual.
