Yeah it's pretty harsh on a young KPF in his first season. He could have played better against the Crows but he did his job the week before.
You only have to look at Logan McDonald to see how tough a gig it is as an 18yo. He's gone the last couple of games goalless and he had the benefit of playing with Buddy. The Big Cohuna will learn a lot more out there working on leading patterns and cohesion with Tabs and Lobb than in the WAFL. He's also done a good job at stopping the opposition from using a spare defender in marking contests to get the easy rebound mark. The ball has been brought to ground the vast majority of times we haven't kicked to a dumb spot inside 50.
I'd give him another week to work on his game and adjust to the AFL. A game against the roos could be a good confidence booster and I feel like the Cohuna is someone who could get a strut on with some confidence. I want to see that happen, especially ahead of the derby.
