Given he has been compared with Darcy in regard to being able to jump in and be a star from day one, it is worth remembering that Darcy had the number 1 big man job thrown at him and had to step up. Treacy is at 2 or 3 in the pecking order, and has less pressure to perform. But, I do think, had Darcy, Meek, and Lobb all been out of contention this year, Treacy would have stepped up and given a similar effort to what Darcy gave in his first 10/15 games.
