First things first. If Cerra wants to leave a clearly building club with, I’d argue, the best 24-and-younger list in the comp to join a bunch of wilderness monkeys like Carlton for around about the same money, I wouldn’t bank on either his personal judgement and leadership.
(Incidentally, I don’t think that’s what Cerra is, or where he’s at).
Further, if we get another couple of elite youngsters and room in the cap by Cerra leaving, then I’d put everything my coaches and sports scientists into building Lachie Schultz’s tank, because I’ve got a feeling about that bloke that will make Cerra quickly forgotten.
Once again, I want the kid to stay, he’s a jet. And I think he will.
