Yeh i'm feeling Utopia as well.
For all the above reasons, and I remember the glory days of Old Easts ,The Alexander era, then mediocre since then.
I get anxious already for Freo,About an hour after the game and watching the replay ,basking in the fact we can hit targets ,and cutting through the corridor many times without turning it over ,well not as many times.
Even though it's norf's ,i wont be happy till we are 5 or 6 gls in front with 5 mins to go.I'm anxious now just thinking about how it could all go pearshaped and we could put in a shocker this week.
I'm lucky to have a person behind me with one ear on the radio,and as we count down the seconds for a win,that's euphoria,the group around us going ,20 secs,15,10 you bloody ripper,that is one reason i go to the games the fans are getting to enjoy what this team is evolving into.( i dont ask the time left when it's the reverse on the scoreboard,but I think we will be enjoying that scenario a lot more this season.The Carlton game last year was horrendous.)
