Four Hawthorn players were sanctioned for their part in Clarkson's organised thuggery.

O'meara for striking Serong - $2000
Ceglar for flattening Walters - $2000
Scrimshaw for tripping Fyfe - $1000
Lewis for striking Serong - 1 week

Hawthorn got off light. There is nothing there to act as any incentive for Clarkson to clean up his act.

I think that if more than 3 players are reported for separate offences in the same game then the coach should be sanctioned as it would appear evidence of an organised approach.
A one week penalty (no contact with club) would be an appropriate sanction for the coach and underlings. Oh and some money too. A week's salary?
