A quick logistics question. Where is the closest place a public car can get to the stadium during a game to pick someone up? I’m at the city end.
My son is old enough to want to come to games, but start to finish games are pretty long, so he runs out of puff before the end. We live pretty close to the stadium, so my (football-hating) wife is willing to pick him up from outside the stadium during the game, but we’re not on a train line and the buses don’t run mid-game (obviously), and there’s no public car access to the stadium on game days.
I reckon I could slot him through the window of a moving car, so long as it was travelling at anything below 20km, if that helps.
I tried going across the bridge on Sunday thinking that if Ubers can get there the public can, but it turned out I had to go past Trinity College. With a tired four year old, that takes approximately two hours to do. I left at halftime and got back just in time to see Fyfe taking shots by himself.
