Can someone explain why the Hawks couldn't maintain their keepy-off game that they played in the 2nd quarter? It reminded me of what Richmond did to end our 2015 winning streak.

Fox commentary spent the whole day talking about the Hawks except briefly near the end where someone mentioned how Freo got a few softies early, but couldn’t buy a free since quarter time.

Not true statistically, but some of the howlers paid/not paid against us made an impression.

Interesting how when we win there seem to be half as many comment as when we loose.

If we take todays skills into each week we are a good chance against a lot of teams.

Great to see Darcy excelling up forward. Gee he copped same hammering today, glad he didn't get injured.

Treacy showed a bit in his first game.

Hawthorn are a dirty bunch, especially O'Meara.

These modern footy players are freaks. 7pm having dinner for my wife's birthday at Nunzio's in Freo, and Brayshaw, Cerra come in for dinner, looking fresh and chirpy like they'd just woken up, when only 2 hours previous they'd been smashing in against the thugs O'Meara et al.
