We're up against Melbourne again.
Polly is right, we will have learned heaps about Daisy Pearce's mob, they might have learned how to beat Freo in a close one but D. Pearce is out, and with some adjustments to the game style, we could be right in this.
Trent needs to step up.
Calls for more pressure (effort) only, are uncomfortable reminders of Roly in 2015,, when the men looked done in and the team fell off a cliff. Can we get smarter with our game to neutralise opposition midfield structures, and be more efficient with the ball going forward? We were starting to do it in that game but our light midfield does get pushed around.
Since Katie Jayne Grieve went out, we've lost both games. Not sure what's going on with her, but I think the girls know they all have to step up, and will come out fighting. Go Freo!
