AFL draft 2020: Small forward Corey Durdin confirms interest from Fremantle Dockers

"Fremantle could look to a South Australian small forward to fill one of their primary list needs, with Corey Durdin revealing the Dockers have shown interest ahead of next month’s draft.

The Central Districts product looms as one of SA’s top draft hopefuls after producing some impressive performances at SANFL level off the back of being crowned the best player at the national under-16 championships two years ago.

Durdin stands at a diminutive 173cm, the same height as Freo’s greatest-ever goalsneak in Hayden Ballantyne."

We seem to have a lot of smalls but other than Walters who is actually elite.
Shultz tries really hard and is honest. Not many tricks ie shots on boundary line. In front he gets them , but on an angle not that classy . Switz cant kick more than 30 meters, plays beautifully in congestion , has special moments in play but does not kick goals and is never fit.
Liam only had a small sample size so can’t tell.
Would be nice to get an elite small forward who is genuinely dangerous around goals

If we're going for another small/mid sized forward I still don't think we should go past Alec Waterman. He's got a bit of X factor with his long kicking for goal from outside 50 metres ready to play seniors and with a lot to prove after his unlucky first shot at AFL level.

I wouldn't look too far into that article, we'd surely be talking to a lot of kids this year, especially given the lack of football. Durdin is no guarantee to be drafted by anyone let alone jumping our list of smalls plus Western.
