In an effort to leave no stone unturned in our quest for sustainable success, do we need to review our number one ticket holder?
I like Richard Walley and he may be our best option but I have no idea how the No 1 ticket holder is chosen, what they do, how long they stay and, most importantly, why it can’t be me.
Are there other options or is RW a shoe in for 2021?

It took the defence chiefs over four years to have a look and now its been handballed to someone else to spend another decade checking out. If we don't have a policy why not spend the next couple of decades thinking about one.

Carmen was clearly our best choice before Richard. How about The Gormeister - loves a kegger and he's about as rusted on as my radiator mounting bracket.

Thanks for the list of #1 ticket holders at each club.

That is really stupid, five clubs have two #1 ticket holders and one (Geelong) three! Do they share them (go to alternate games alone) or try and sneak in on a two/three for one deal? It's "ticket" not "tickets" - what a rort! And what about that married couple at Sydney, are they divorced and their lawyers negotiated a splitting of the ticket? Then it's only half a ticket (or 60/40, 70/30, or 80/20 whatever). And if only one can go, do you reckon the other one is going to stay home and mow the lawns? Not a chance!

Ok, it could be that one of the two (or one or two of the three at Geelong) gets to go to the AFLW games and the other the AwFL matches - but those ten teams with only a single #1 ticket holder gets to double dip and go to both competitions - again, what a rort!

And what about The Toilet's Sam Kerr - if she's playing in west London with Chelsea, do they let her brother out on day release to use the ticket?

Walt was quite right - this is the important stuff - but it begs more questions then it supplies answers.

I appreciate the war crimes analogy but it might be overstating the intention of the original post, which was simply an effort to fill in the boredom gap between trade and draft. Apologies if it came across as a serious attempt to flesh out the relevance of the no. 1 ticket holders role, which will only hold importance to me when it is given in perpetuity to Clive.
