Small/medium forward I would have thought we had covered. Walters, Schultz, Crowden, Sturt, Switkowski, Henry, Frederick, Fyfe (at times), Western-NGA.

If that list, only Sturt and Fyfe are genuine Medium forwards at 189cm and 192cm, maybe Frederick at 183cm could just qualify. The rest are all under 180cm. Pretty certain this is why we played Banfield in the forward line when Sturt went down.
If we are only going to to play with two tall forwards then another medium is required, otherwise we are robbing Peter to pay Paul by playing the best midfielder in the comp in the forward line.
If Sturt remains fit then rotating Fyfe and Mundy through there has merit, especially with reduced rotations next year, however having a developing forward/mid who can hold down that spot and rotate into the middle for short spells would be ideal, Poulter, Oliver Henry, or even O’Driscoll could fill that need.

Well if all fit, we've got too many backmen. Ryan, Hamling, Hill, Logue, Wilson, Duman, Hughes, Pearce, Cox, Young. All are good enough to hold a spot in our side, so there must be thoughts of some of them playing as forwards. Personally, I'd like to see Young moved up to the wing with Acres on the other one.
Cerra has also spent time as a forward.

Ryan and Cox have such a good mateship that it clearly helped Cox lift his intensity this season, if we've got to many backs I'd like to try moving Cox and Ryan into our forward line and see what they can do.

Down back we would still have Pearce, Hamling , Logue , Wilson, Duman, Hughes , Hill , Watson and Young, I would also like to move Young to a wing.

Oldman Buckenara has Nic Cox at #18 & Shannon Neale as Rookie prospect at pick 50+ in his writeup...

AFL draft 2020: Recruiter Gary Buckenara names his Top 50 prospects

"SHANNON NEALE

202cm, 91kg, South Fremantle/Leeming SHS, ruck/forward

Neale is one of the ruck/forward options in this year’s draft. He’s a mobile type who’ll definitely be a project player but given the need for developing ruckman around the competition, I’m sure many clubs in the market for a developing ruckman with a long-term view will have him on their list as a potential recruit.

JOEL WESTERN

171cm, 64kg, Claremont/Western Tigers, midfielder

Western is a potential Academy player for Fremantle who had a solid season this year playing at Claremont in the Colts competition and was one of the best afield in a losing team in the grand final. He’s a neat player but lightly framed, so I think he’s a rookie chance as it’ll take a while for him to put on size."

meanwhile...

"27. BRANDON WALKER

184cm, 75kg, East Fremantle/Kardinya Cats, defender

Walker is a Fremantle Next Generation Academy player. The Dockers will try to downplay his potential to discourage an early bid but with speed, agility, good vertical leap, clean hands and nice skills, it’s hard not to see an early bid coming. Fremantle would be mad not to match."

AFL mock draft has us down to pick 15 because of bids higher in the draft.
Cal Twomey selects Tanner Bruhn (Geelong Falcons midfield/forward) at 15. Cox and Chapman go earlier than 15 in this mock draft.

My opinion:
Throw pick 15 and all our other picks plus Western, the Walkers and our future first rounder from next year into one big package and trade it all for a pick that'll nab that Logan McDonald kid from Perth.

otherwise:

Nah, we dont need anyone - we've got the team to take us to a GF. Just give everyone a pay rise and let's get to it.

A lot of talk in the media about Nathan O'Driscoll, Freo supporter, Nat Fyfe fan boy, sister plays for Freo and he's a pretty reasonable footballer tipped to go Top 20. Any love for this boy if we can't get Chapman or Cox.

Whoa there you young whippersnapper Expat. I played football with Oldman Gary Buckenara and his couple of years older brother.

Bloody youth of today-no respect!

Twomey has us taking Brayden cook in his actual mock draft where he picks where he thinks players will end up, different to his rankings that are independent of clubs draft positions and needs.

Don't really care who we get as long as he helps us to a flag in the very near future.

Yeah whoever we get we will get behind him. The club picked well last year so they are in form.
