Six grand and a crim record for a poor decision is probably just a little over the top. Hopefully, the club has a more even handed view than the beak did.

I think it was $8K - headline I saw said "massive fine" which was amusing.

Spent conviction so no record. But the lawyer's fees are probably more than the fine.

The legal system has meted out a punishment, the club should issue a statement soon about its view on the debacle which is hopefully a slight variation on "nothing more to see here, move on" - maybe their own financial penalty?
