As i've mentioned before about a conversation i had with Griffin after the Carlton pre-season game,after telling him he should be a mid,he said he had already badgered JL for the role,i think he would be another big body,very mobile,great mark,and quick.,with young and hopefully Hamling and Pearce coming back and Hughes and Duman and Cox proving they can play back ,it makes sense put this guy in the middle.
I would have played Watson forward in last nights game,he can take a good contested mark,has played on forwards so knows what to do,and we take out a tall and put in a midget in Colyer ??.

Hypen, I actually texted the same thing to a mate when I was watching the North v West Coast game. He is an Eagles supporter, so obviously I was only texting him in the first half.

The best answer is to avoid playing games in Queensland at night.

I'm not sure what another solution is, other than perhaps scuffing up the footballs a bit. These guys are among the most talented athletes in Australia, and they look like a bunch of very fit amateurs having a kick on the weekend.

I was reading the AFL site article on Heath Chapman from West Perth and, I'm not a Cardies supporter, I thought this kid's the type of character who would fit into our club well going forward, good footballer, good citizen. Given we're going to be short on high draft picks could he be a possible lat pick for us at the draft. Averages 22 disposals and 7 marks playing in defense, AFL site say possible top 15 pick but, who knows?
