Always had lots of time for Justin Westhoff, especially after the time in 2009 the mongrel Darren Glass went past the ball to take him out (no free kick let alone report) and The Hoff just picked himself up and got on with it.
Always plays hard but fair, incredible versatility and always seems humble and self-effacing.
Don’t often miss opposition players when they hang up their boots, but will miss him.

Talking about beard monsters, that Luke MacDonald's face bear is causing a spinal deformity - do you notice how much that thing pulls his body forward?

I reckon they should get footy's best beards together for a hands behind your back canned beans eating contest - Hurley, the Hoff, MacDonald, Dixon, etc. You know, for charity - for West Perth or East Freo - help out the battlers that stuffed up.

I still haven’t forgiven him for the 2014 semi-final. Something about being bundled out someone who looked more like a barista than a footy player bothered me at the time.

A few years later every bloke looked like a barista, and few were as good as footy as him.

Me too, Corporal - always admired him, seemed to be the smartest footy player on their team for years. Always tried his guts out for a win, always played honestly (usually in a long sleeved jumper) and hated losing all the time. I never liked his team, always hated their supporters, but that little skinny bloke was one of my favourites. Good on him.
