It's great to see these young lads being given a crack. He'll better the better person for it after a preseason and training as a forward group. Loved that late goal, he is starting to get into dangerous positions.

He could be something, but players are refusing to use him. I saw James aish look at him at half back and then decide to bypass him for someone in a more dangerous area.

It is something I noticed in prior games as well.

He has potential but we are carrying him. Given we are not in finals contention that is not a bad thing.

I’ve no doubt he’ll be a star, I hope he stays around so we can watch him develop. He has exciting speed and glimpses of skill which can only improve.
He still runs around like a headless chook for no apparent reason though. Once he works out how to use his speed and position himself to advantage, sky’s the limit.
I also have noticed teammates ignore him for riskier option. They don’t trust him..YET.
I remember Mundy used to drive me mad when he was a youngster. Let’s hope history repeats itself. I’m optimistic.

FD, Mundy was a superstar from game 1.

Frederick has not really exploded onto the scene the way many seemed to hope or think he would, and sure, he is bypassed by more senior players on occasion, but when he has to win the footy, in a contest, he gets his share. What impresses me about him is his use of the ball by handpass, he rarely if ever misses his target, and uses it to Freo's advantage. He is no headless chook.
