Sorry PP I wish I could agree but if that game was a big improvement he really is coming off a low base. 6 disposals for the game. Lots of running around but just three tackles for all that effort. There’s lots of talk about how fast he is but his speed hasn’t had an impact during the game. I think he has potential but he has a long way to go.

I thought he had his best game last week. Tough night tonight, conditions were not great for his style of play.

I thought the wet weather took Fredrick out of the game, it's hard to change direction at top speed in the wet.

I think we'll see him explode on a dry day when he can turn on the afterburners and take the game on, he will be a star .

Even though tonight didn’t suit him, in every game he plays you see things that make you think he will be a ripper with 50 games under his belt.

Agreed, DS.

I've been watching him a bit...I love his attitude and attack on the ball. He has been improving with each outing and at this stage of his career, thats all you can reasonably ask.

But gee he looks exciting and fun to watch. I think he'll surprise a few with how far he takes his game. I reckon he's a ripper.

No world beater yet, but some of the things he does show he will be up there. His speed and accuracy with his hands in close, and his willingness to run. He chooses the better option almost instinctively when he gets the footy in heavy traffic, and that's a handy trait.

Come to think of it, most of our players are getting the footy clear of the pack with handpasses these days, instead of the 2 meter troublemaker prevelant under the previous regime. Could this be because we have less players within 2 meters of the footy these days?

C'mon RM.....there's no way that that could work , could it??!!

As for Micheal, I reckon he's great! For those who think he's out of position a lot....you can see they've got him running the tramlines'...he's running back to position everytime there a stop play. I
n his 1st few games, he was relying on 'the play finding him', but he's now working out 'how to find the play'.
Sees the year out & another preseason, and he'll be something really special.

I reckon it's great to watch the young blokes given a chance to learn and grow into the game.

Sorry folks I don't have the same love. Seem to have a bit of the busy fool syndrome, does a lot of running for not a lot of impact.
Yes he is fast, yes I hope the glimpse we see become more often.

Apart from Serong who has moved into the mid's with ease ,it has taken ,Brayshaw and Cerra 50 games to show how good they are going to be.This kid and Henry are going to be really really good for our side .

I thought the conditions helped his game, instead of stopping to coral the opposition he slid straight into them an laid a tackle. That’s my only knock on his game to date, not enough tackles, his fumbles are noticeably decreasing every game and he has lightning fast hands putting players into space on more than one occasion last night.

He's a great example how this *season has been a real bonus for Freo; we've been able to move Brayshaw, Cerra and Serong into the engine room, develop Cox, Hughes and Duman as potential key players, get another year under Darcy's belt, get valuable games into Schultz and Crowden and give Frederick and Henry (whose time will come) a taste of it, undercover of a seventeen-game pre-season.

It's really unfortunate that Logue, Young and Sturt went MIA, but they'll be back.
