Sad to see Liam dropped. He was ok but never really applied enough pressure or was truely dangerous. Hopefully he will get much better as a number 9 pick.
As for Connor blakely nothing really changed. His disposal got progressively worse with each outing where he Was really poor against GWS.
Unfortunately his kicking and handball to advantage is not there and his team mates ignored Him several times when he was free.

A pity because he has size and can get it , but gives it back a little bit too often.

Liam is “omitted” not “dropped”. In cases like his, there’s a difference.

The bewildering selection is Margetts. Once again. If The Pope wasn’t in cloisters, he’d be able to tell us how many games against each team each umpire had appeared. If any of them have got close to Margetts v Freo I’ll eat my shorts.

This isn’t even a case of familiarity breeding contempt; in Margett’s case he was born with teeth.
