I haven't seen enough Giants games to be sure, but it seems like Tabs is having a better individual season than Cameron. Part of that is how often we go to Tabs.
I remember a stat a few years ago that Fyfe was destroying the competition for percentage of contested marks won per contest (in part because he was matched up against midfielders). I reckon Tabs’ contest percentage would only have gone up a tad (he’s been an elite contest mark for a few years), but the real difference is how many contests he’s involved in now.
On the flip side, Cameron has to share a forward line with *checks spelling* Greene, Finlayson and Himmelberg. That’s a pretty well-balanced forward line with four guys averaging more than a goal a game. Tabs is our only regular to average a goal a game. I think it’s part of the reason the Giants score more than us. Also, if you add Goal Assists to Goals, Cameron comes out a shade ahead.
It's hard to split them.
