On the contrary cletus, no one is being harsh on the kid, in fact we are all able to see his ability. My main concerns are not based on lack of ability but either lack of confidence or simply trying to hard and over thinking. He is going to be a star. So let’s be patient with him. The last thing we want is for his confidence to go, we’ve seen that too many times before and it takes a bloody long time to regain it.
Some players can handle being thrown in at the deep end, others need a taster but need to be managed. This kid is our future. Handle with care.
