How have you seen the skills evolve?
I think we are using the ball pretty well but we don’t talk a lot about what to do with the ball, we talk a lot about providing good options for the ball carrier off the ball and I think we are doing that a lot better. So the ball carrier has got clear options he can go to. Tonight we tried to hold our forward structure a bit more which gave them something to go to under pressure, against Geelong we just lost our structure, so we’ve worked hard on that the last couple of weeks and it’s creating good options for us forward of the ball.

How good is it that we have a coach that fronts up to press conferences and speaks honestly without embellishment. In particular, JLo doesn't overload his answers with ill chosen adverbs - as someone who listens to Aunty regularly it irritates the hell out of me the way 'absolutely' is repetitively used in the media.

I watched Justin's presser this morning and he didn't use the term 'absolutely' once - instead, he answered with 'probably' a number of times after early on starting a reply with 'to be honest'.

Thanks for that - what a relief it is to listen to someone speaking like a person, not some gushing and stammering publicity machine that instils little confidence that they know anything at all.

Jeepers Polly! No wonder I drive you mad.

On our game plan what I find interesting is whilst there is improved organisation and set up across the ground, including forward of the ball and less players at the contest, there is still more pressure on the opponent than last year. And that's what many of us have been banging on about in terms of playing efficient football for a while.

I thought we were lucky that Hawthorn are old and slow. In the last quarter they moved the ball much more easily, and had us in a bit of trouble. Luckily it took Clarkson 3 quarters of football to figure it out.
