Happy with creating options forward for the ball carrier...Gone is the past.
The collecting of the loose ball on the ground and quick slick disposal by hand and foot to guys running left, right and back. Always options and flowing. Skill level is rising.

Plenty of attacking precision ball movement and a game plan that knew how and where the Hawks move the ball - and smothered it.

Winners all over the ground, and telling kicks to a forward line that's in the forward line. Some very sweet slick stuff from Serong.

The handball in tight was really impressive. Obviously the kids like Serong were a highlight with those handballs, but I thought blokes like Conca and Wilson were really good when it mattered too.

Brayshaw and Cerra are really coming along nicely.

Ryan must be a certainty for the AA team the way he is playing. As an undersized key defender in about two months he’s gone from ‘I hope he makes a contest here’ to ‘watch Ryan win the contest here’.

A little more class at ground level up forward and in the wings, and we would have won that game by 10 goals.

I know Hawthorn suck now, but it was still really fun watching us outclass them.

Another heroic effort from the backline. Brilliant work from the midfield kids, led by a gutsy Mundy. The team full of characters rather than pretty boys. Plenty of talent to come back in. I'm loving this team.

Fredericks needs a rest. He was very average tonight.

For me I like how Jlo is giving a go to players RTB would either play out of position or not at all. At least at the end of the season we will have a good idea of the quality of the list

I think fredericks went ok tonight. Think hes starting to work out 'where to be'. Sure...he fumbled too much...but so did others - obviously the ball was slippery.

I'd put that down to inexperience.

Stick with him and let him work it out. He's not far away from a breakout game.....and from then on he'll be one of the first picked...
