It's been said a few times but Tabs is elite at contested marking but can struggle with a lot of other areas of the game, particularly when the ball hits the ground or with ball in hand and under pressure (just look at a couple weeks ago). Unlike Dawson who was a one trick pony via spoiling, not everyone can take a contested mark and it's a huge asset to have.
He also has a couple of secondary attributes that are at a high level and help him in his role as the tall target, good size/strength and a tank that gets him to a lot of contests. It's a good package you can work with and when he's on, he's difficult to stop. Unfortunately that has rarely been the case over his 80 games due to a litany of reasons (developmental, tactical, situational) but hopefully becomes the case going forward.
91 goals from 80 games aren't stats to brag about and he's taken a long time to come through but hopefully at 27, he can start to bare fruit in a new system.
