Well, well, well, why am I not surprised. The video clearly shows contact to Ryans' jaw, the head is sacrosanct, but Geelong players are more sacrosanct. Hawkins has previous form for this sort of thing when he is being towelled up by an opponent, the tribunal should know this, so they have chosen to ignore video evidence and recidivist behaviour and go with a medical report. As much as I dislike the eagles, I do not think that justice has been served, but the usual apologists for video angles and legalese will come up with reasons why I am wrong. Remember those arguments when Walters, Darcy or Ryan gets sick of being treated unfairly.
