Leave Jlo alone for goodness sake. It’s nowhere near a normal season, he’s only had half a team to pick from most games and when they get a good team on the park, they look good.
Give him a chance - he’s not even coached half a season yet !!!

Putting in place a mentor probably has a place, but Woosha seems like desperation and not showing confidence in our selection of the coach.

Naturally JLo gets a bit of leeway. He's doing it tough with a huge number of injuries. But if we get to this time next season and the team he coaches tries to play one-dimensional dry weather footy in the wet...

It’s a good idea for a young coach to have a mentor, whether Worsfold is the right person I don’t know .

I think it's rubbish. He's done his apprenticeship and had coaching mentoring at WC and Collingwood already.

Straw clutching at its very worst....

No Hypen ,because he could not get away with what he did back then.
And would spend more time suspended than being on the ground.

Young CEOs have mentors, it makes complete sense to have an experienced person to seek advice from as you develop.

JLO Definately needs a mentor.

Not Woosha.

He'd be better off with Greg Page I recon

So you've just landed your dream job, think you have the full support of the organisation that is suffering through a crisis beyond your control (Weber) and they decide you need an in-house mentor, the guy who coached the most disgraceful team in sporting history (2006 Eagles)?

Whether it's the right thing to do or not from a performance point of view, I cannot think of anything worse for J-Lo... or my sanity.

I assume Hagdorn started the rumour so we don't have to worry about it actually happening.

Hackdorn started the rumour because he likes messing with your head. That's his idea of having a good time.

More often than not it’s the new coach/CEO person who is smart enough to see a mentor would be worthwhile and seeks one.

I doubt whether the last coach would’ve thought he needed one.

There are few players and fitness staff who need mentoring much more than Justin does, the media are just starting the old "stick the boots into Freo, it's fun" game again, Fyfe going, mentor for the coach, next big story will be "How will Freo survive if Pav requests a trade back to SA" byline Hackdorn, editorial comments Brad Hardie".
