Putting in place a mentor probably has a place, but Woosha seems like desperation and not showing confidence in our selection of the coach.

So you've just landed your dream job, think you have the full support of the organisation that is suffering through a crisis beyond your control (Weber) and they decide you need an in-house mentor, the guy who coached the most disgraceful team in sporting history (2006 Eagles)?

Whether it's the right thing to do or not from a performance point of view, I cannot think of anything worse for J-Lo... or my sanity.

I assume Hagdorn started the rumour so we don't have to worry about it actually happening.

There are few players and fitness staff who need mentoring much more than Justin does, the media are just starting the old "stick the boots into Freo, it's fun" game again, Fyfe going, mentor for the coach, next big story will be "How will Freo survive if Pav requests a trade back to SA" byline Hackdorn, editorial comments Brad Hardie".
