For those of us living in Melbourne things are a bit bleak at the moment and it’s easy to get caught up in all the negative news and thoughts of the long road ahead, especially for those most at risk with their health and those who have lost jobs along the way.
After this week’s news about Shane Tuck, I read the following article about Merv Keene and thanked my lucky stars for what I have rather than worrying about what might be in the future. I’m happy to put up with some relatively minor inconveniences (masks, isolation etc) if it means getting through this thing with minimal impact on friends and family.
Things could be a lot worse. Take care, look out for each other and keep talking.
