Probably need a bloke called Avon to help me on this, but the other thing Belly mentioned on Sportstalk is that list will likely be reduced to 40 from 47 next year.

If so, who are the 7.??

There's 3 big names that none of us would want on there , but are probably 'TBD ' (Too be discussed).... which would at least make a change from the TBA that is usually alongside their names...

reminds me of when the Steve's bought a dairy farm in the Ferguson Valley. They were sold 183 cows with the property but when they rounded them up, there were 200 of them!

on a conservative basis, using 2017 figures published by the AFL (see here), assume the 126 players are in the 75th percentile of their brackets (39 players on $75,000 and 87 on $175,000) and then take all of the players over $201K and assume they are at the bottom of their brackets, then you’d be looking at around a 9.5% pay cut.

the assumptions I’ve made are wack, so a lot less than 9% would save the day for 126 players.

Go back five years and look at the wage Mike Walters was getting. It is very possible that someone with that much talent could be cut. Just saying - I think everyone should have a good think on that.
