What happened was they closed the lids on the chip boxes , resulting in fewer chips in the box, which understandably at that price, upset people.

He was announcing the new bigger boxes.

The lesson is, the cost of the production has no bearing on the sale price of food at the footy.

If anyone is having a lousy day at their workplace, they should look at this guy. What a pro:

i. solid suit choice (professional, but shabby enough so it doesn't look like he bought it with the excessive chip money);
ii. grave look on his face;
iii. contrite hand gesture;
iv. Crows-style powerstance for regional symbolism that also hints at just enough dynamism to be able to procure bigger – but closable – chip boxes ahead of the next game in Adelaide.
