Well i was all gung ho about getting my tickets ,and was happy to get them.
But as the week wore on,i started to think like i have for the last four months,is it really safe out there amongst 25thousand or more.
Even though we were going to wear masks we both did not feel comfortable to be in such a crowd all of a sudden.
As much as it hurt and i so wanted to be there ,no matter how many experts wrote us off,i wanted to see the new talent ,and watch live a new game style ,new faces ,and as much good footy as i had seen on tv.,more attacking and not so dour defence.
But i suppose our age decide it for us ,(72).
And i gave the tickets to my son who with a mate are as passionate as anyone ,and they loved it.
So Noddy you are right as far as i am concerned and obviously many others too.,it will always be at the back of your mind ,as you try to do all the things you have done so many times before ,and that's go and see our players play.
the worse part will be do i bite the bullet and go to the cats game or ?
