In hindsight I wish we hadn't sacked Lyon at the end of last year.

We would only be paying a salary for one head coach not two, we would be in no worse position than we are now, we wouldn't have to listen to him parattling on the telly all the time.and at the end of this season we could have told him to sling his hook for nothing.

That Hawthorn side of 2013 weren’t very good, they only won the following two GFs as well.

Lyon knew how to coach a footy side, the problem was that Rosich wasn’t held accountable by the Board and Lyon should never have received his last contract.

He was our AFL messiah on a slow fuse which eventually blew up.

Yeah I'm not convinced he was as good as some people claim. He was good at running squads that other coaches built into the ground. He wasn't good enough to actually build his own squad as evidenced by his complete failure to build one.

He also missed the boat on skills maintenance, even when every man and his dog could see Freos biggest deficiency wasn't fitness, it was doing something when we had the ball (kicking to the opposition doesn't count)

When all is said and done, he's coached as many premierships as Damien Drum. Now Alistair Clarkson, he can coach.
