It has taken me a long time to accept this, but the FDFC is not a club. It hasn't been for a long time. It is purely a business and we are its customers.
Right now, that business owes its customers recompense for services undelivered in 2020, and if they start playing the tiny violin and asking its "passionate and well-loved members" to come to the fore and save their business, I can assure you that I will not be putting my hand in my pocket. The FDFC business can get a loan, try to turn a small profit each year for the next ten years, and fight their way back into the black. It isn't the customers' job to save their business.
