Yeah, Noddy, before players were turned into super athletes, they had to rely on their skills to win games. It meant players of all types and shapes could do well if they had the skills, and some of those skills were spectacular, A Cam Blakemore or Graham Ramshaw droppy over 70 yards, A Peter Troode or Vern Orr flying above the grandstand to mark on the wing, a Barry Cable or Billy Walker weave & dodge through the big blokes to hit his full forward on the tit with a lace out stab pass. I would forgive all the faults of footy in the 60's/70's to see those things again. Along with Pollys 30 meter handpasses.
