Bit concerned about the news that David Hale is being used in intra club matches.
Though it means he is - at least - now being 'put to good use', it does not suggest we have any ruck depth at all.
Obviously J-Lo becomes a realistic Captain-Coach option should Hale go down. !!
So, it got me thinking....
I dont quite understand all the terms/rules of the mid season draft, but I reckon - provided he is willing - we should sign Sandi up to his closest WAFL club, ....get him to take the kids for a lap or 2 every tuesday arvo,...and, get him ready for action for the last half of the year! .
At its simplest, its good insurance against the potential in-season loss of Hodor or Meek.
But also, if he was keen to look at a couple of seasons at Essendon, and, if he only had to play for half a season...well...he might have some interest in the concept, because his Essendon foray suggested he thought he had a 'bit left in the tank'.
I could not think of a better use of the mid season draft!.
So...has anyone sighted/seen the Big Fella , and how's he travelling...??
