it was a pretty spirited game .
Aish,Acres,Carter,Hilly Serong (no sooner got off for a break,he did not sit down ,stayed on the boundary line,slapping his legs ,pacing around ,itching to get back out on to the ground)Hughes for me were the standouts .
Hale did most if not all the ruckwork,Darcy did the warm-up,then went off.apparently young is being managed ,
I could definitely see more attacking and fast style,rarely were the opposition forwards left on their own,a lot of quick transferring either across the ground or up the guts .
Some bad turnovers still from old and new players,though not a lot,Aish and Acres were particularly accurate .
What a joy to see hilly hitting anyone he aimed at lace out ,pure delight .
Brayshaw ,chera were also going well.
Ryan.Cox Hughes across the backline also went well.Frederick seemed a bit lost and caught out of position a bit ,but was going in har d.
Fyfey got caught a few times ,but he was doing what fyfey does and spent a lot of time up forward.Logue also had a good game.he teamed up well with ryan and Cox.
Pearce was a waterboy ,looking really fit ,does not look like he has put on much weight.
Mccarthy has trimmed down a lot,he seemed to spend a lot of the time on the wing,also went well.
Tabs and Lobb did not drag down many marks but were ok.
Anyway it was worth having a look,to me we will be bringing a different style this year,going to be interesting who gets a game of the young kids ,Matera had a shocker ,Schultz also played well.Bewley's kicking was superb,he was in the game a lot .
