Okay, I've read most of the rubbish so called journos have guessed what we need and I've also toyed with the possbility to recruit Ash, but if he's not available then here's my 3 draft picks...

Deven Robertson - will be great to add this guy to the midfield stocks
Jeremy Sharp - I really like how this guy moves. Has good speed and long kick.
Liam Henry - No brainer here. Elite speed and elusiveness.

It will depend on where jackson and young go.
I reckon serong and robertson will be the sliders to the freo picks. Whether they pick them or not is another story. I like robertson and stephens personally. We need a winger replacement. Although the idea of a fit brodie kemp is very appealing but after apeness im no sure we should take any risks

Yeah Expat I like Sharp but I don’t think we will pass up on Hayden Young if he is there at our pick. Will instantly be one of the better kicks at the club. A left footer too. I like Serong also but if we go for Robertson I wouldn’t think we would take Serong as well. Freo also to trade live to add another pick in the top 30.

Reserves (in order) Flanders, Serong, Ash.
No to Robertson (good player, but a bit Priddis-ee. Not a match winner)
Won’t get a chance at Jackson, but I really like him (probably come home in the future anyway)
Kemp could turn out the best of them all, but too much of a risk for mine
If we could somehow nab one of Taylor, Sharp, Pickett or Rivers later on, that would be some sweet icing

*i know lots about this stuff because I saw some highlights packages on the interwebs

Had time to reassess...
I wish we had more than 3 picks as I'd seriously go for Kysaiah Pickett, With both Pickett & Henry in our fwd line that will be really exciting. I understand Melbourne are in the hunt for Pickett at 10. So now that we have nabbed their pick 8 and slid them back we can take advantage and grab Pickett.
My first pick is really up in the air. Maybe Ash or Young, but I still like how Sharp moves as I'm sure Ash will be taken before pick 7.
We'll see.

I ran into Byron a couple of years back at that launch for the SBS series on Nyoongar footballers.
