Gold Coast and Carlton will have picks well before us so they'll be the ones who get to duke it out for him. I don't think he has much interest in coming home to WA either.

Doesn`t appear he wanted to come back but if he did why didn`t we explore a swap for Blakely
Not sure how this plays out but the rumours where his cards are marked at Freo, perhaps Jlo wants a season to see what he can do (hard at the ball but his disposal is second tier)

OGS, The Rumours has had a lot to say about what is happening at Freo over the years, but not a lot of what he has had to say has come to pass. He makes some wild guesses based on what a friend of his wifes cousin's brothers girlfriend heard in a coffee shop down Subi way, so I would not think that JL is basing Blakely's future on Mr Rumours assertions.

I think GC are locked into Rowell/Anderson at pick 1 and 2 in the national draft so if he nominates for that with a huge contract on his head, Carlton will have a chance to get him. Same goes for the pre-season draft.

It will probably depend on whether GC want to hold him to prove a point. Melbourne will look at him to fix their half forward woes but may not have the salary cap room to meet his asking price.

My understanding is if he nominated for the draft he can’t nominate terms. The only draft in which terms can be named is the pre season draft.
I could be wrong but if I am correct that would mean he would nominate for the pre season draft and Gold Coastcwould have first crack.
