It's being reported we're offering Aish a juicy contract to head west and stick with JLo.

I don't mind Aish who has shown a bit as a player but he's not really what we need given the likes of Ryan and Wilson on the half back flank and a litany of others in competition for those spots. He'd also cost a bit at the trade table and there's no reason I'd give anything away to get him.

He's not a star player and not what we need so why would we bother? Give me Rivers or Ruscoe in the draft any day of the week over him.

If we’re serious about Jlo being an astute appointment for Freo moving forward, then let him bring in the players who he thinks can make us a better team. Clearly his time with Aish at the Pies was significant so let the cobblers do the cobbling.

Late picks won't do it for Aish. You'd be looking at something top 40 at least and most likely in the 20-30 range. With our next pick after 22 being 79, you'd think we'd have to give 22 to the Pies at this stage.

If we manage to get him for a later pick than 40 then I'd be more inclined to grab Aish. He was originally supposed to be a winger before finding a home at half back so maybe we're looking to replace Langdon and Hill with Aish moving up the ground. The bloke can kick which has certainly been a weakness in the past.

Sub 40 pick and i'd pass, later than that and I'd consider but probably still prefer a kid.
