There was a player from North Melbourne who played for us after winning a GF can't remember his name but Half Forward if I remember correctly. However with my memory, as it's going I may well have imagined it!

Stuart Anderson, swapped for Winston Abraham at end of 1997 after playing in North Melbourne's 1996 Premiership team playing alongside Peter Bell. Played 1998 only 9 games in the number 6 guernsey. Tony Modra then pinched the number 6 guernsey off him when he joined the club in 1999. Anderson couldn't get a game in 1999 so bolted mid season.
I don't think that was a trade we benefitted from as Winnie played some great footy for the Kangaroos including the 1999 Premiership which makes him another member of this small group.

Matty dead unlucky 6th in GWS F&B after missing 7 games with injury. I think probably the worst delisting in the club's history. The work he does behind the scenes as a team man is the same as he did at Freo, not a new development.

Couldn’t fit into the best 22 in a team that finished 13th but is rated in the top six in a team that played off in the GF after only playing two thirds of a season. Well done GWS for getting the best out of the Pig.
