I know none of us want to hear this but perhaps he's just a bit smarter than his old man and the rest of us!

When (and it will happen) we start beating the Eagles again, then take him to a Derby. Let him feel the pain of supporting a losing team. Rub it in. Cheer loudly for each of our goals. Laugh each time they don't get the free kicks that they "deserve".

Its fine for kids to make their own choices. They just need to learn to live with the consequences.

Just let him know that his choice is one of the biggest choices he'll make in his life affecting his future.
Now, does he want a future with you or without you?
Then let him know that everyone has made dumb choices... just look, there's over 55,000 of em right now. Does he really want to be another? It's not too late to change.

Parents whose kids wear egirls stuff should be charged with child abuse.

Have you ever watched Clockwork Orange? The aversion therapy looked to work well for a time.

I'll be honest - before Freo entered the scene, my oldest son started footy as a little tacker. I took him to an EGirls game at Subi - he wanted to go home at three quarter time and pleaded with me to not take him again. He played footy until he was 13 and then discovered girls. He never supported That Other Mob.

There's your answer - take the kid to one of their home games. That'll do the trick. If not, like I said before, just sit on him.

I have only ever bought tickets to Freo games. If the kids (and the husband, for that matter) want to watch AFL, it will be at a Freo game.
Eventually you get them, you just have to be patient.
If he wants any Eagles merchandise, he will have to either rely on obnoxious relatives or get a job.
