It's concerning that the "idiot Christenson" spoke so enthusiasticlly about the AFL's new techno plaything. He reckons it will enable him to make MRO decisions within 24hours, because, he says (quote) "that's what supporters want".
I would say that what supporters and members have continuously demanded is a player review system that's fundamentally fair, balanced, non-partisan and consistent.
So how does super slow-mo help to remove all the agendas, bias and preconceptions that continue to bedevil the current form of match review? In what way is this 'ARC' thingy going to raise umpiring standards to acceptable levels?
Further evidence, as if more was needed, that the AFL is totally out of touch with it's customer base - that is, average, everyday footy supporters.
