The drop in Freo membership could point to a number of things, including some members are no different to other team members. That is, when the going gets tough they bail out. For a while I thought we were more passionate and rusted on than other teams but sadly that’s not the case. It’s possible that a lot of the no shows and bail outs are really WC supporters because I know that’s the case around where I sit. Them not being able to take the bad times doesn’t surprise me at all.
Always going to every game looking for the positives but like most I am gutted when we lose, particularly where the effort isn’t there by the players.
