We all remember things differently. I mean, until I saw the reply, I was positive it went down like this.

So real that The Worst will probably give it a run tomorrow as evidence that we had an extra man, & a horse, on the field.

Brilliant stuff guys!....only on DL could Demis, a horse, and a Hodor get a gig...

I thought the umps were very kind to us in the last quarter - but maybe they realised that the horse had bolted and it was time to even up the free kick count.

But in the Eagles - Blues game, a Carlton player got a free for a high tackle. The Eagles player was ropable, and deliberately pushed the Carlton player over as he got up to take his kick. I can't imagine this being anything other than an immediate 50m penalty - but no, nothing at all.

Walters had discussion one on one with umpire Mathew Nicholls before the bounce to start the third quarter.
I deleted my rant concerning how the umpires baby sit the Eagles.
A scum player takes mark and Jack Silvagni is on the mark when another scum player comes over and push's Jack Silvagni,....Jack Silvagni push's him back and the ump blows 50m.

Whilst I agree Fyfes was a free and Hodor may have got way with it, I found the holding the ball calls very inconsistent it seemed Geelong were fielding a team of Chris Judds, where you could hold the ball when tackled, throw the ball or drop it and all was fine. if we had lost the game I think the umpires would have copped it

I repeat, Quasi, the rules state a player can play on from outside the field of play, as long as they do not deviate from the line they take when playing on. Darcy didn't.

The interpretation of the deliberate out of bounds rule has got me stumped.
On two occasions on Saturday , near the interchange benches, Paddy Dangerfield was tackled close to the boundary line and it appeared that on one occasion he handballed straight out of bounds and on the other he pushed the ball over the boundary line. The boundary umpire was close by and it was a throw in each time.

On the other side of the ground inside our forward 50 GAblett gets hold of a loose ball and runs 4-5 metres along the boundary line he gets tackled and he steps out of bounds. Throw in.

It would be appreciated if the AFL could clarify the rule so that I could understand the umpires interpretation and not call them useless BHFs.

The other interesting one by the interchange area, was an attempt by a Geelong player to force an OOB on the full against, I think, Mundy. Instead of attempting to handball the footy at Mundy's boot, he blatantly threw it, which was conveniently ignored by boundary and central umpire alike.
