Darcy ran in a straight line back into the field of play. The rule states that you may playon from outside the boundary line, as long as you don't deviate from the line you take when playing on, until you are inside the field of play. ( I don't recall the clause and sub-clause, sorry)
With the Fyfe/Danger incident, I thought Fyfe slid in and jammed his hands on the footy, Danger tried to soccer the ball forward and tripped over the (held) stationary ball. I don't think Fyfe's body contacted Danger's legs, which is a pre-requisite for a free.
As for the rest of the umpiring, there were 2 approximately 10 minute (maybe less) periods at the start of the second and third quarters where some diabolical decisions, mainly around holding the ball/incorrect disposal went against Freo, which let Geelong back in the game. Besides that they were not too biased. As for the advantage decision against Clarke, he heard the call and played on, realized he had stuffed up and tried to con the ump. The ump, for once, was not conned.
