That’s what 100% effort looks like by 100% of the team. Cerra’ return to high skills actually looks very accomplished across tha backline.
Sandi I love him, some of his taps were poetry. Doing what he has always done best providing the get out kick and blocking the oppositions exit.
Hill, Walters and Fyfe nothing needed to be said.
Crowdens form being rewarded.
Hughes, Duman’s and Logue’s continued development.
Carter looks quality.
Darcy proving RM right about him.

The Bad
The umpiring and particularly holding the ball.
That it took this long to play for players ahead of those clearly injured

Good
An unexpected but pleasing win. The youngsters stood tall: Swita Crowden Schultz Banfied pressured the opposition all day and special mention for first gamer Carter he’s got a good touch and will get better. Mundy showed why he should play on until he’s 40. Brayshaw and Cerra looking better. Duman and Hughes were good down back.
Of course Fyfe and Walters have lots of class.
I liked Geelong’s week long holiday in WA. I’m glad you enjoyed yourselves boys!

Not-so-Good
The first quarter was as expected.
The umpires must’ve come over with the Geelong team. The deliberate out of bounds rule is one I don’t understand but there are other rules that have passed me by.

+ the crowd. It was a good vibe in the stands. Less than usual in numbers but equal in passion and volume to recent games. Son Son called it out at the end that it was ramping the boys up.
