Yeah hypen, I don't agree with your stance here.
Considering the club's current state and Bell's role in getting it there, there are questions about whether he is the right person for the job. As you said yourself 'give him a chance to prove he's crap' and I agree with that.
What I don't agree with is a 2 year contract extension when he has done nothing to justify it on the basis of performance. Nobody really knows if he's good at his job, so why not wait long enough to find out? Right now, all I'm seeing is business as usual.
It's the boys looking after each other and these are things that we do need to be looking at or there will never be any incentive to change.
This is my footy club and a state owned asset. It's not a cash cow for a couple of blokes to write themselves huge employment contracts, deliver garbage and somehow not be accountable for anything. Yeah we do need to be looking at this.
