Mentioned this before but can anyone name an assistant coach under Roly who has gone on to be a senior AFL coach
Look at his current assistants does anyone stand out
Even his mates from St Kilda who ark up on fox footy as to what a great coach & person he is wont come and join him ie Del Santo and St Nick

More important things in life such as young families and partners whose lives revolve around extended families and hometowns such as Melbourne and Sydney. Adam Simpson seems to be an exception so far, and Ross whose families including children and partners have embraced Perth as home but in Ross'case getting hammered by Weagles media and upset Dockers fans.
Guys like Brett Kirke will probably not return as he is happily back home in Sydney whilst hometown prospects like JLo, or Sumich would probably like being based in the West. Other possibles are Josh Carr, Dean Solomon or Leigh Brown who have spent time at Freo in a previous life.

Care to tell us when Chris Scott worked under Roly?

He retired from playing after 2007, started at Freo in 2008 under Harvey and then went to Geebung.

He must have snuck those three years with Roly in when nobody was looking

One of Harvey's proteges has coached a flag but none of Roly's, who haven't ever made Senior Coach.

Must be one of those development things

Scott may be talking Roly up but if he is he's speaking from first hand ignorance as he's never worked with Roly at any club
