If this million dollar figure is true, and I'm sceptical because it's the sort of number you leak when you want people to think - "well what else can they do but keep him", and the board, Peter Bell included, signed off on a long term contract extension with no way out other than to pay it's full value, how do any of them think they are competent to sit on a board of directors?

Surely it's negligence. It leaves the organisation exposed to huge risk.

At this point the club as a whole is a failure, What we should do is sack the lot from assistant coaches to the top of the club and Replace them with the entire Subiaco set up, They clearly know how to run a successful team and keep them there.

I'm serious about this, at the moment Subi would easily beat Freo's afl team and their team costs would be a small % of what we spend on Freo , Subi skills is what we need.
