Apparently Tom brown on this show says Freo had a meeting in Melbourne and reckons the only thing standing in he way of sacking Roly is the payout which would effect our soft salary cap.. Kangaroos are also worried about the payout to SCOTT now as they had thought he would be picked up by another club so wouldn't need to pay him out. He also says about the disharmony between Bell and Rosich. The West has also already picked it up online. Probably tomorrow's paper.

Before we frantically sack the coach and members of the board...
Surely we must look at facts and benefits of doing so.

So we sack him, pay out $1 mill, then what?
Who is out there to coach? Really? Let’s not jump at shadows albeit shadows three and half years long.

I suggest we suck up the rest of this year, makes no difference now, start again next year, spending the year to source the right man and save some cash.

This is a serious choice of coach with very little current choice. Wait and review.

If they got it right on Talking Footy then Rosich should resign for creating this situation where they now cannot afford to take action to protect the club.

While we are at it, the rest of the board should be in a similar position.

Add to which, they had grounds to sack him last year but doubled down and supported him throughout the whole unpleasantness. Again, Rosich and Alcock should be held responsible for yet another appalling set of decisions.

We all know that will never happen.

Whose cash? Will FFC crumble if t pays Lyon out? Are they asking you to fund it? Nope.

I don't see this as the big decision many seem to think it is. Only internal politics are stopping it happening. There is no premiership coach chafing at the bit to come to Freo.

You take on punt on someone who is doing good things where they are, and sees the value in working on skills. Lyon doesn't. He even took a whole summer off doing his job and called it delegating.

How bad could things get? Freo are already going deep south and picking up speed.
